Accessories built for the ASUS Transformer Pad helps users get more out of it, extending the overall user experience. One such cover is the TranSleeve Dual, a durable, dual-positioning, multi-view angle sleeve that supports handheld video watching and ergonomic typing. After extensive checks we can confirm that no units have been supplied to the UK with a known WiFi issue. Any customers experiencing WiFi issues specifically are advised to contact our support hotline on tel. 0870 1208 340.

Any customers who have purchased a Transformer Prime TF201 and are dissatisfied with the performance of the GPS module are advised to return the unit to their point of purchase for a full refund as per standard consumer rights that apply in the UK.

Any customers who wish to keep their unit will be offered an extension to the standard ASUS warranty from 12 to 18 months (for any retailers who offer an additional 12 months’ warranty with their purchase, the total warranty period will remain at 2 years). In relation to the recently-announced TF700 model, this product is unlikely to be available in the UK before June at the earliest and no pricing details have been announced.

Android 3.2 is here!

From the 2nd August, Transformer owns will have the option of installing Android 3.2 via a FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) update.

One of the biggest changes with 3.2 is the compatibility zoom. Smart zoom smartphone apps to fit the native resolution of the screen, so all you favourite apps will now use the entire screen in all its hi-def glory.

A change that is a big one for the Transformer is that the touchpad on the Keyboard Dock will have multi-gesture support! This means that you will be able to use your touchpad in exactly the same way you use the touchscreen on the pad!
